While I was writing (and rewriting) If the Stars Align, I’d often find myself in the romance section of my favorite indie bookstore, gazing at all the love stories and dreaming about the day I’d see mine among them.
Well, guys—it happened. My book is on a shelf. And not just any shelf. It’s at the iconic romance bookstore, The Ripped Bodice. And I’m every bit as excited and emotional as I thought I’d be, even though I’m miles away and, for now, only get to see it through a picture.
But what a picture!
(And if you’re distracted by the cowboy’s abs in the lower righthand corner—you’re not alone.)
In other news…I FINISHED WRITING BOOK TWO! I’m planning a summer release and, if all goes according to schedule, hope to do a cover reveal next month. Right now, my second novel is in the hands of beta readers.
I’ll be honest—I was nervous sending the manuscript to my first reader. She LOVED If the Stars Align, and what if this book didn’t resonate as much? Well, she put all my fears to rest when she finished the manuscript and said she had “no notes.” Needless to say, I’ve been on cloud nine ever since. Thank you Beta Reader 1 (you know who you are, and you know I love you)!
Lastly—I decided I didn’t already have enough on my plate, so I designed a tote bag for romance readers, which you’ll find on the new “Merchandise” page on my website (link below).
I couldn’t help myself. I came up with a tagline several weeks ago, and haven’t been able to get it out of my head: Romance is Rebellious.
That’s what I love about this genre. I write romance because it’s empowering. My novels aren’t only about meet-cutes and happily ever afters. They’re about sex positivity. Encouraging self-care. Smashing gender norms. Destigmatizing mental health issues.
This is my platform. This is my brand. I’m not just here for the steamy sex scenes (although they’re lots of fun to write).
I want to make a difference.

That’s all for now, friends. As always, a heartfelt thank you for your support, reviews, hugs, Instagram likes—all of it.
